Our Ministry
Founded by Michael and Florence Kyomya in 1995, the ministry’s objective is to be a catalyst for spiritual renewal and growth in the Anglican Church of Uganda. That they may have eternal life; that they may know Him, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He sent – this is our focus.
Compassion Movement
The Compassion Movement is an effort of Hesed International to engage all people, young and old, male and female, married or single, rich and poor. People from all walks of life and from varying backgrounds, at the point of their need.
Engaging them with the simple notion that while life may have problems and unending challenges, solutions must be sought but more importantly that God is the answer.
The compassion movement is one of evangelism.
Youth Clinic
With all the problems plaguing the younger generation Hesed international seeks to not only address these issues but seek to heal a generation.
This program we have called the Youth Clinic. By engaging young people in not only relevant but real and honest ways, we seek with the help oif God to be a part of healing a generation.
Tree Planting Campaign
Michael Kyomya after many years of education, experience and inspiration was able to complete a book entitled: “A Guide to Interpreting Scripture”. The book deals with aspects of interpretation that are needed to understand the Bible better and apply scripture to life experiences and spiritual growth.
The program “The Distribution” is an initiative to try and get the book in the hands of not just pastors and teachers but every Christian seeking to better understand the Bible.

Hesed Organizing Women is the branch of Hesed that seeks to engage and impact women from all walks of life, background and age. We believe that by listening we can impact women to not only fulfill their unlimited potential but also grow their families and improve their spiritual maturity all at the same time.
